Membership

The club currently maintains a limit on membership of around 100. Artists wishing to join are added to a waiting list and are advised by the club secretary when a vacancy is available.
Members receive:

Free attendance to monthly meetings and demonstrations
A chance exhibit and sell their art work at 2 exhibitions and 1 art market each year.
A monthly newsletter
Discount cards from Oxlades, Jacksons, Art &Craft World.

How to become a member?

Request an Membership Application Form by emailing Trigg Art Club
Once your application is completed and returned, it will be presented to the committee for review, then one of the following may happen:

If your application is approved, the club will send you an acceptance letter listing the fee payable, and other relevant details.
If no space is available (the club currently maintains a limit on membership of around 100) you will be asked if you want to join the waitlist, and you will be added to our newsletter distribution list. You will be informed once a spot becomes available.
NOTE: Membership applications accepted in January/February each year only.
VISITORS are welcome but will be required to pay an entry fee

Meetings

MONTHLY CLUB MEETINGS and ARTIST DEMONSTRATION
Members meet and share their art experiences at the monthly meetings on the third Friday of each month (unless otherwise notified) at the Trigg Island Surf Club premises February through to November. Meeting schedule detailed below:

9:30 am: Doors open
9.45 am: Short meetings
10:00am: Usually a demonstration from one of Perths many accomplished artists.
12:00pm: Members Meeting Closed

VISITORS are also welcome but will be required to pay a $10 entry fee.

WEEKLY SOCIAL PAINTING on Fridays
The club will meet at Trigg from 9.30am to 12.30 to paint together on Fridays, except for when monthly meeting is held on 3rd Fri of each month (see above). Check this website for any cancellations.
Each participant will be responsible for their work space, drop sheets and table covers should be used to protect the tables and carpet.
Some members may offer to host small workshops on the non-demonstration weeks.
VISITORS are also welcome but will be required to pay a $5 entry fee.
